Misr University for Science and Technology Celebrates the Graduation of New Cohorts of Professional Diploma Programs at the College of Dentistry in Cooperation with the University of Genoa, Italy

Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST) celebrated the graduation of new cohorts from the Professional Diploma programs at the College of Oral and Dental Surgery for the year 2026, within the framework of international academic cooperation with the University of Genoa, Italy. The ceremony was held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Opera House Theater on the MUST campus.

The celebration took place under the patronage of Mr. Khaled El-Toukhy, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, and was presided over by Prof. Dr. Hala El-Menoufy, Acting President of the University and Dean of the College of Oral and Dental Surgery. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Stefano Bindschenzi, Head of the Department of Endodontics, Restorative Dentistry, and Laser Dentistry at the University of Genoa, and Director of the International Master’s Program in Laser Dentistry.

The ceremony witnessed distinguished attendance, including several ambassadors, cultural advisors, and representatives of cultural attachés from a number of Arab and regional countries, such as Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Palestine, and Yemen, in addition to prominent academic leaders, faculty members, and dental specialists. This high-level presence reflects the prestigious standing of MUST at both the local and international levels.

In her speech, Prof. Dr. Hala El-Menoufy emphasized that the College of Oral and Dental Surgery prioritizes the development of the educational process through the integration of academic instruction, practical training, and scientific research, alongside strengthening international partnerships. These efforts aim to enhance graduates’ competencies and align them with the evolving demands of the labor market.

She added, “We believe that an outstanding dentist is one who combines solid scientific knowledge, advanced practical skills, and strong professional ethics, while maintaining a commitment to continuous learning, as these are the fundamental pillars of success in this field.”

The ceremony also included honoring faculty members participating in the professional diploma programs from Egyptian and international universities, in appreciation of their academic contributions and their role in transferring expertise to students. In addition, trainers responsible for the training programs were recognized for their valuable efforts in elevating the professional standards of graduates.

Furthermore, representatives of leading companies specializing in laser technologies, dental implants, facial aesthetics, and digital dentistry participated in the event and were honored in recognition of their effective cooperation and ongoing support of educational and training programs. This collaboration reinforces the connection between academic education, practical application, and labor market requirements. This celebration reaffirms Misr University for Science and Technology’s commitment to supporting international partnerships and offering advanced postgraduate programs in accordance with the latest global standards, contributing to the preparation of highly qualified medical professionals capable of competing and excelling at both regional and international levels.
